The fine print
Privacy Policy

GothGirlsGo collects as little as possible. You can browse the entire guide without an account and without being tracked. You only share anything if you choose to create an account to save your list.
What we collect
If you create an account, we store two things and nothing more:
- Your email address, used to sign you in and, if you ask, to recover your account.
- The places you save to your list (which city and which spot).
We do not run advertising or third-party tracking, we do not build a profile of you, and we never sell or rent your data. If you never make an account, we hold no personal data about you at all.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser’s local storage only to keep you signed in between visits. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
Where your data lives
Accounts and saved lists are stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, who process the data on our behalf. The site is hosted by Vercel. Both are bound to keep your data secure. Your password is managed and encrypted by Supabase; we never see it.
Your rights
You can see everything we hold about you on your My List page. You can remove any saved place at any time, and you can permanently delete your entire account and all its data from the account menu (top right, “Delete account”). Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you are in the EU or UK, this covers your rights to access, rectify, and erase your data under the GDPR.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data until you delete your account. After that, it is gone.
